ANZ Publishing House began with a simple frustration shared by a handful of Brisbane-based editors and cover designers: too many talented Queensland writers were giving up on their manuscripts, put off by publishing houses that felt distant, slow-moving and locked behind gatekeepers.

So we built something different, a publishing partner that blends the credibility and craftsmanship of traditional publishing houses with the honesty, speed and creative control that independent authors deserve. From our base in Queensland, we now support storytellers right across Australia and New Zealand, and increasingly, readers around the world.

Our name reflects the two nations we call home, Australia and New Zealand, and the values we build every author relationship on: honesty, craftsmanship, and a genuine belief that every manuscript deserves the chance to become a finished, published book.
