Aron Cabernet Ottignon was born in Auckland, New Zealand on 16 November 1982. A child from a musical family.
Labeled by Stuart Nicholson, UK Review, as an Ambassador of Australasian Jazz, Aron Ottignon is the driving force behind the explosive sound of the Aronas Jazz Quartet, which was formed in 2003.
A piano and keyboards session musician of all styles, after spending ten years performing from Australia to London, Aron is now based in Paris where he is involved in building momentum and expanding his European fan base leading up to the release of his second album due in 2014.
Aron is currently working with renowned French Indie artist and film director, Woodkid (Yoann Lemoine) and performing on the Golden Age World Tour, which began with a performance in February 2013 at the Eiffel Tower. Previously he spent over a year touring with a well-known French rap artist d’Abd Al Malik.
Recent collaborations have included, writing piano for Stromae’s huge European hit Papaoutai, reaching top ten in over 10 countries and number 1 in France and Belgium.
