Hello, my Name is Alexander Davidow and I am currently enrolled as a student at The University of Georgia. I am originally from Cary, North Carolina, where I attended Green Level High School.

High School was a wildly important time in my life. I had a great school/life balance going, mainly including my high school soccer team. Throughout my four years at this high school, I had managed to make the varsity soccer team all four years. What I would soon know very shortly after making the team freshman year, but this would ultimately be a double edged sword.

Immediately after making the team, I was absolutely ecstatic, over the moon even. A freshman goalkeeper on varsity? Almost unheard of. While my expectations about playing time was incredibly low, I never thought I wouldn't see the field till late junior year, but unfortunately that's exactly what happened.

It took two and a half excruciatingly long years before I ever saw any playing time, and even that came with a cavoite. Every time during junior year that I made it into the game, it would just be with about ten minutes left and during an absolute blowout. But after two years of nothing, I was gonna take what I could get.

And then finally came senior year. It was glorious. Every single game, I started and played till the game ended. It was simply everything I had anticipated would happen freshman year, just a bit later than expected. Unfortunately, our season didn't go the way I had planned, but honestly, after a long three years prior, I was completely contempt. Contempt with the greatest lesson in patience I would ever receive.
