Ashley Perkins

Originally from Peaster, Texas, Ashley graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, with a B.A. in Religious Studies. She attended several semesters at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary before entering the mission field. She lived in Uganda, Africa for a year, where she taught English in an orphanage school. Currently, Ashley is the Administrative Assistant to the Outreach Pastor at Trinity Bible Church near Ft. Worth, Texas. She serves as the 8th grade girls’ leader on Wednesday evenings and coordinates numerous Outreach events for TBC staff, church, and the community at large. True to form, when asked about marriage, Ashley quickly responded, “I’ve been single for a while and it’s going really well. I think I might be the one.” She has a wirehaired dachshund named Murphy, whom she loves dearly, despite his puppy antics. Ashley enjoys food, fashion, running, live music, movies, traveling, baking, and Pinterest. Ashley loves learning how to live in grace each and every day. When she falls on her face, she says Jesus is always there to lift her up. Psalm 73:26
