agnes pingkan Lumowa

Agnes Pingkan Lumowa- prefers to be called Agnes- was born in Jakarta 1995. She lives her dream to make a better change for others.

Her dream is started when she joined Robotic Club at her high school - SMAN 28 Jakarta. She created her innovation 'banyu-bot' which won International Robotic Olympiad 2010, a mobile water filtration robot explorer aimed for helping people to get water in rurall areas in her native country, Indonesia.

She is now realized that there is an area called ECONOMICS, a social science of human behavior towarding scarce and utility. She found that she can help society more by studying economics like A US congressman, Jim McDermott, once told her that if you want to make a better world of living, start your invention from the economics aspect because it can change many aspects in people's lives.

Her interest in economics brought her to choose University of Groningen in the Netherlands- economics and business economics major- for her higher education.

She is looking forward to study international economics so that she can work in international organizations so that she can contribute her thoughts in making a better living for others.

In her spare times, she is interested in books and literatures from bunch of writers who give her a better view of world such as Pramoedya Ananta Toer (Bumi Manusia, Arok Dedes), Leo Tolstoy (Anna Karenina, War and Peace), and Langit Kresna (Gajah Mada).
