Wen is an associate at EFA partners, a boutique investment bank in New York City that specializes in arranging financing for firms in the entertainment and media sectors. Since joining the firm in June 2012, Wen has engaged in more than 6 projects and arranged financing ranging from $10 to $60 millions per deal.
Wen has extensive academic background in both Accounting and Finance. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from one of the top colleges in China. Then, she finished a one-year intensive business program at Duke University, The Fuqua School of business, and earned a Master degree. In addition, she is finishing up her MS in Accounting at Pace University. She has passed CFA level I and II and is on her way to complete CFA Level III and all four CPA exams.
In addition to the outstanding academic records, Wen has over 2 years experience in various fields of finance, including wealth management, commercial banking and corporate banking. Before joining EFA partners, she worked at Agricultural Bank of China, Morgan Stanley and Altfest Wealth Management. In all three workplaces, her supervisors hold high regard of her capabilities and initiatives and were impressed by her intelligence and motivation.
Wen is devoted to serve her local community. Since moved to New York, she became an active member of New York Cares, frequently helping organize educational and entertainment activities for children in need. In Beijing, she volunteered teaching rural girls for over three months and served as a media-village volunteer during the entire 2008 Olympic games.
