Apphia Campbell

Apphia Campbell is a trained singer and actress from the United States. She has been performing since the age of four, and it was at that age that she decided she wanted to be a performer professionally. She attended Florida International University where she graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance. While in School, she always pursued singing and theatre, she was one of the founding members of a theatre company called, "Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe", which has been in existence now for 10 years, and has won several awards for performance in Sarasota, FL.. She moved to New York after graduation where she performed in several regional theatres and off-Broadway houses singing, dancing, and acting. She has worked in Shanghai, China since 2009 singing blues, jazz, and pop in venues such as Cotton Club, Park Hyatt, Brick, and Lattelier. She wrote and produced her Christmas show called, "Josephina's Holiday" a modern day Motown Christmas story, and wants to have a bigger musical theatre scene in Shanghai. She loves performing, and believes that pursuing your passion is showing appreciation for the gifts you have.
