April Taylor

Madison, Wisconsin, United States

Apparently these people think I'm pretty okay.

(My husband did this, I'm really not this self-serving.)

"April is my best friend. Since the second grade. From Legos to Björk to theater to college and from the happiest to the most tragic of circumstances, she's always been there for me, and always will be. With a well-timed curse word. And for that I'm really, really grateful."

- Emily Moen

"Was a glorious day in Edgerton when a unique, cerebral kid moved in just down the street. Dressing-up, adventure-seeking, movie-watching, and book-sharing took a total turn toward super awesome! Love you, Lady."

- Jessica Seff

"April is the best underground nightclub bouncer on roller blades--definitely not to be messed with!"

- Liz Bingham

“April is a simply awesome co-worker and friend. I am so happy I met her and convinced her to join the B4/5 crew. Since then we’ve become pretty tight and our kids seem to tolerate playing next to each other too :) Happy Holidays to a great gal! (and your hubby is pretty great for putting this all together for you too)”

- Marissa Anders

"No more or less than the coolest, bad-assiest little sister a guy could have! And if you mess with her, I'll stand there and laugh as she pummels you into the ground!"

- Josh Countryman (Brother)

"Once April was an adult, she would ask for our opinions on decisions she was facing. She would listen, consider, then MAKE UP HER OWN MIND! I've always been impressed by that."

- Tom Countryman (Dad)

"I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living
my baby you'll be

The philodes will always connect us

Little April came home from school, walked into the kitchen, and pulled a piece of fabric from her pocket. She looked at both of us and said "you know what this is?" We looked at each other and shook our heads. "The butt of my underwear," she announced. The button on her overalls had hooked the fabric and ripped out the butt section."

- Wendy Countryman (Mom)

"I love you, mama!"

- Ethan Taylor (Son)

"I love you, mama!

Thank you for making me a better person.

I hope your Christmas is all that you deserve."

- Anthony Taylor (Husband)
