Juggling the careers of an adolescent drug and alcohol counselor and dance instructor, April Cox, is a young professional with a passion to see women of all races and cultures live a healthy, passionate life. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Cox spent most of her childhood in Johnstown, PA, where she obtained her high school diploma from Greater Johnstown High School. Cox graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in dance. Cox has been involved with community organizations such as JAHA Discovery Heritage Center and BOTTLEWORKS. April’s choreography has been showcased in events for Relay for Life and Band of Brothers’ production of Ain’t Misbehavin’. April strives to empower every individual she comes in contact with, whether in a professional or recreational setting. Cox currently practices drug and alcohol counseling with Impact Counseling, LLC in Cambria County, PA and teaches dance at Sharon’s Dance Studio in Johnstown, PA.
