April Fournier-Scott, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of PINK House, is a passion driven professional with experience in personal and employee development, financial and governmental processes, and is easily adaptable to change. Mrs. Scott is a graduate of Dillard University in New Orleans in Accounting. April successfully manages a budget of over 62 million dollars annually, reporting and explaining fluctuations and variances to Sr. management. Her people skills are exceptional. Mrs. Scott easily works well and often with all levels of leadership (Sr. Executives to level 1 employees) with proven success through new financial process and new employee processes. Through this skill, she usually makes changes to processes quickly and effectively. April is Founder and Chair of a successful Employee Resource Group called M-Powerment which helps working parents and caregivers to collectively support each other. She is also the Treasurer for Teaching Knowledge over Principles that helps youth become critical thinkers and make good choices. She is a member of the Junior League of New Orleans. Mrs. Scott’s corporate and non-profit experience brings a unique combination to the management of PINK House, allowing it to have a strong structure with the ability to have a soft presence. The most important skill that she brings through her CEO role at PINK House is the ability to connect with the right people to get successful results.
