Aquila Chukwuma Edeh, popularly known as Funny Aquila, is a fast-rising stand-up comedian, content creator, compere, and social media influencer with a unique flair for turning everyday realities into rib-cracking laughter.

Though he hails from Enugu, his roots run deep in Abocho, Dekina L.G.A., Kogi State, where he grew up and nurtured his passion for entertainment. He had his early education at Our Lady of Schools, Anyigba, and later graduated from Kogi State Polytechnic.

Funny Aquila began his comedy journey years ago and has since become a household name, celebrated for his witty punchlines, social commentary, and inspiring delivery. His style not only entertains but also sheds light on societal issues, offering humor with wisdom and leaving his audience inspired.

He is the convener of “Made in Kogi” and the brain behind the annual flagship comedy show “Atmosphere of Laughter.” He also made history as the first comedian to establish a comedy club in Kogi State, creating a platform for nurturing talents and giving fans a steady dose of laughter.

Beyond the stage, Funny Aquila is a top-notch compere/MC who has anchored high-profile events with class and charisma. His career path once led him through the corporate world, working with United Bank for Africa (UBA) in Lokoja, which sharpened his professional and people skills—qualities that reflect in his performances today.

With a growing influence both on and off social media, Funny Aquila continues to bridge comedy, culture, and creativity, carving his space as one of Kogi State’s finest exports in the entertainment industry.
