Arabella Jones has nearly 20 years of experience leading high performing teams across sales, marketing, strategy and corporate development, including 14 years at Microsoft, where she currently leads the company’s Canadian Small-and-Midsized Business & Distribution (SMB&D) group.
Arabella's leadership has been essential to helping Microsoft and its channel partners capitalize on the significant business opportunity in the SMB market. She was the founding executive of Microsoft’s Canadian SMB group, building on her prior role as VP of Canadian Partner Strategy, Marketing and Programs, through which she was responsible for the broad engagement of Microsoft partners, including driving partner enablement strategies around the milestone launches of Windows 7 and Office 2010.
She joined Microsoft as a Managing Director of the company’s Corporate Development and Strategy group, where she was responsible for strategically evaluating, structuring and negotiating M&A, investments and joint ventures. Before joining Microsoft, Arabella was SVP in the Investment Banking, Retail and E-Commerce group at Alexander House Financial Services.
With a strong interest in entrepreneurialism and small business, Arabella has spent much of her career addressing the needs of SMBs in some capacity. She is widely recognized as a thought leader in the SMB space. Widely quoted in SMB and channel press, she is also a contributing columnist to Entrepreneur.com and authors a weekly blog on Microsoft Business Hub, where she offers technology and business insights and advice to SMBs. Arabella also is active in evangelizing Canadian entrepreneurship.
