Andisa Ramavhunga
A value creator with a growth mindset
Andisa is a practioner and lifetime student of strategy, organisational design and leadership, the foundation of all value creating and sustainable organisations .
He has over 20 years experience in management consulting, early stage entrepreneurship and a short stint as a credit manager (unsecured lending) for a large retail bank in South Africa.
Andisa has founded three businesses in the media (broadcast content), real estate and management consulting industry/ sectors. Prior, he had worked for large international consulting firms i.e. Letsema consulting in partnership with Mckinsey&Co, CapGemini and Accenture. His industry/ sector experience includes Local Government, Social housing, Banking, Media & Telecommunication, Airline, Military, Energy and Maritime.
His key expertise lie in Organisational Transformation; Strategic/Business Planning; Business Model Design; Organisational Design (i.e. business process management, people management, operating model, and organizational culture); Capital Planning; and Investment and Early stage entrepreneurship. He is a systems thinker and an analytical problem solver.
His major career highlights include developing an investment strategy for the South African department of defence, Improving ship-to-shore operations for the Durban Container Terminal (significantly reducing a ship backlog in the process), Implementing a turnaround strategy for the Road Accident Fund, Successfully challenging ICASA (communication's regulator) on the Digital Terrestrial Television migration regulations. He has also advised MTN, Transnet Port Authority and Eskom on effective investment and execution of their capital projects.
Andisa holds a BSc (Mathematics & Computer Science), BScHons (Computer Science) degrees from Wits University and an MBA (Finance & Entrepreneurship) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). He was also trained in management consulting by Accenture, Mckinsey&Co and CapGemini.
He has also completed the Seed Transformation Programme ("STP") from Stanford Graduate School of Business ("GSB") which teaches entrepreneurs the science of accelerating growth and scaling a business.
