Je m'appelle Arash Derambarsh.

Impliqué dans ma ville, Je suis élu conseiller municipal à Courbevoie. Très vite, je me suis battu, avec des amis, contre le gaspillage alimentaire. De ce combat, une loi a été votée le 3 février 2016. Dorénavant, les supermarchés ne peuvent plus jeter de la nourriture dans les poubelles. S'ils refusent de donner les invendus alimentaires, ils devront payer une amende de 3750€.

Pour ce combat, j'ai publié un premier livre aux éditions Fayard ("Manifeste contre le gaspillage alimentaire") qui a reçu le prix Edgar Faure du meilleur livre politique de l'année.

Puis un second avec Eric de la Chesnais, journaliste au Figaro ("Agriculteurs, les raisons d'un désespoir" - Editions Plon)

Pour ce travail contre le gaspillage alimentaire, le magazine "Foreign Policy" m'a classé dans les 100 personnalités mondiales de l'année en 2016.

Je suis avocat. Et je suis Docteur en droit (Université Paris 1 Panthéon La Sorbonne).

My name is Arash Derambarsh. I am involved in my city and was elected as a city councillor of Courbevoie. I started a fight, alongside friends, against food waste. From this fight a law was voted on the 3rd of february 2016. From now on, supermarkets have to give away to associations their unsold food. If the supermarkets refuses, it will have to pay a fine of 3750 euros. I published my first book with the editions Fayard (Manifesto against food waste) which received the award for the best political book of the year.

I then published another book with Eric de la Chesnais, a journalist at the Figaro ("Farmers, the reasons of their desperation" - Plon editions).

For this work against food waste, the magazine "Foreign Policy" ranked me in the 100 world personalities of the year in 2016.

I am a lawyer and I have a doctorate in law (University Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne).

I am the president of the "Club Courbevoie 3.0".
