Aravindhan Anbazhagan is a Semester Researcher at Georgetown University's Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET), where he works on the semiconductor supply chain, export controls, and the labor market effects of AI. He is completing his Master of Science in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College in Washington, DC.

His work sits at the intersection of technology, labor markets, education systems, and governance. Before graduate school, he served as a Teach For India Fellow in Chennai and consulted with the Tamil Nadu School Education Department on the Out of School Children initiative, which re-admitted over 188,000 students and deployed an app across 37,000 schools.

A decade-long IEEE volunteer leader, he serves on the Board of Governors of the IEEE Professional Communication Society and is a recipient of the Larry K. Wilson Outstanding Asia-Pacific Student Volunteer Award and the IEEE MGA Young Professionals Achievement Award. He has delivered two TEDx talks and speaks internationally on education, technology, and staying relevant in the age of AI.
