KIU -- Kampala International University (KIU) is the number one private university in Uganda and is currently ranked number 4 out of 65 universities in the country according to the January 2020 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. KIU founded in 2001 and is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the Association of Africa Universities as well as the Inter University-Council of East Africa.
