Archie Forpoh is a social entrepreneur and STEM Education Advocate in Monrovia - Liberia. He is the founder of Innoignite, a non-profit organization youth network advancing STEM Education in underserved communities to diversify the next generation of change-makers innovating for social good.
He is very experienced and highly problem-solving oriented, intelligent with good communication skills, ability to work and produce desired results under various circumstances.
He is a student at Starz University studying Information Technology with an emphasis in System Administration and a STEM credential holder directory by STEM.org as a Master STEM Trainer.
At an early age, I developed a keen interest in performing scientific experiments, this was demonstrated in my primary science classes.
Thereafter, I proffered a keen interest in the scientific outlook of nature. This subsequently led me to have begun this organization to reach young people and get them excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Innovation initiatives.
I utilized my passion for STEM and decided to develop activities that seems to ignite scientific innovation and interest in my peers and high school pupils alike.
Currently, he is TME Education Ambassador in Liberia (a program that aims to promote and popularize electronics and technology-related knowledge around the world, especially in regions, where access to proper training is limited.)
As a chapter leader, Mentor, and Chapter Ambassador for both Technovation Girls and Ignite Worldwide, he organizes the operations of both chapters such as workshops, events, programs, and camps on STEM hands-on activities to spark women and girls' interest in the STEM fields.
Henceforth, he developed STEM activities through STEM curriculum and resources for schools and communities kids in Liberia, He has impacted over 5000 plus minorities youth and students across our country.
Meanwhile, his current project “Tech for High School initiative” is setting-up Computer Technology infrastructures in schools, teaching students and teachers computer skills prior to that taking a project-based approach in having students utilize their skills in solving complex problems in Liberia.
He is a keen lover of education, innovation, and technology. He is also interested in community volunteerism, issues of inclusion, and advocacy characterized by gender mainstreaming and the rule of law as well as a prolific ICT programming adjunct.
