Ale Ricardez

San Diego

Born in Oaxaca, Mexico, raised in Encinitas California. Yet, the transnational imagination that contours the causes that guide my steps now started way before I left Oaxaca. As a matter of fact, the translocal imagination began way before I was born.

I studied urban planning at the Luskin School of Public Affairs, where I focused on Regional and International development trough the prism of transnationalism (the links tying and tied by Oaxacan immigrants between their places of origin and their new places of residence in the United States).
