Ariel Schroeder

"I believe that the journalism which succeeds best — and best deserves success — fears God and honors Man; is stoutly independent, unmoved by pride of opinion or greed of power, constructive, tolerant but never careless, self-controlled, patient, always respectful of its readers but always unafraid."

~ Journalists' Creed

I am currently completing my senior year at Columbia College. I have a broadcast journalism major. My goal is to establish a career as reputable journalist upon graduation. I have had the honor of interning with many outstanding broadcast stations including WGFA 94.1, WGN-Radio, and WGN-TV. My passion for journalism grows stronger with each story I work on. Becoming a journalist is something I not only want to continue to pursue because I genuinely enjoy doing it, but because I want to share the stories of others. In each story I write, produce, edit, or report on I am reminded about the people- and the importance of their stories.
