Allow me to introduce myself – I am ARIF SONNET, an ardent cinematic virtuoso hailing from Dhaka, Bangladesh, on a voyage spanning more than a decade. My ardor for narrating tales has propelled me to don various roles within the realm of the cinematic world – that of a director, a producer, and a visual raconteur.

In the course of the last ten years, I have formed alliances with esteemed entities such as the BBC, ekattor tv, and mvrk.tv, in addition to being a key contributor to significant media platforms in Bangladesh. My forays into the cinematic domain traverse the expanse of genres and formats, from intellectually stimulating documentaries to captivating promotional spots, and from emotionally evocative short films to ground-breaking television productions.

In the year 2019, I was bestowed the honor of producing the internationally lauded short film, "Prem Puran: Allegory of Love." This endeavor garnered recognition at prestigious film festivals, cementing our team's status as vanguard filmmakers.

My foray into the domain of documentary filmmaking shines through my collaborations with revered institutions such as the BBC. In "Indian Frontier Railway: Maitree Express" (2015), I served as a diligent researcher, endowing the project with depth and authenticity. In the capacity of the Director's Assistant for "Jonmo Sathi: Born Together" (2016), I assumed a pivotal role, thereby earning accolades and the esteemed National Award for "Jonmo Sathi."
