Consultant in New York
I help students, professionals, and organizations reinvent themselves and their organizations. I try my best to learn more than I teach, share more than I receive, and listen more than I speak. In addition to traveling across the country (and, occasionally around the world) to help individuals and organizations raise their profiles, I coach 7th grade basketball, play guitar, and am a fairly active triathlete (completed the 2015 Ironman in Mont-Tremblant, Québec and the 2013 Ironman in Lake Placid, NY). I am the author of Reinventing Professional Services: Building Your Business in the Digital Marketplace (Wiley, 2011 - also available in Japanese) and The Opportunity Maker: Strategies for Inspiring Your Legal Career Through Creative Networking and Business Development (West Academic Press, 2nd Edition, 2016), for which I had the privilege of interviewing some of the most fascinating experts across the globe. I am also a legal industry analyst and ghostwriter for a number of companies preparing industry research reports, white papers, articles, case studies, and client profiles. The ABA Journal named my blog, http://www.ReinventingProfessionals.com, to it Blawg100 list of the legal industry's most influential blogs.
