Arimoro Praise Oghogho is currently a third year student of the department of Optometry in the University of Benin.

Along with her full-time degree programme, she is also running an online specialization programme in Patient Safety from The Johns Hopkins University.

She has also earned certifications ranging from different fields such as Technology, Psychology, Career development, Entrepreneurship amongst others.

TECHNOLOGY

Praise has interests in technology and is currently working towards becoming a full-stack web developer.

She is very skilled in content creation and she effortlessly expresses herself in writing. She serves as one of the content creators in TMI Africa and has been published on Elowell Max, a leading blog on Health and Wellness.

VOLUNTEERING

Just as breathing comes naturally for most humans, making things work comes naturally for Praise. She is passionate about getting things done the right way and always makes herself available whenever man-power is needed.

She has been on several outreaches working closely with top organisations such as the African Eye Laser Center, The Nigerian Optometric Association and the Nigerian Optometric Students' Association. She is currently a volunteer for The Medvocacy Initiative for Africa which reaches out to people through social media campaigns and community services. She is open to volunteering opportunities and outreaches.

HOBBIES/PASSIONS

Praise has always wanted to give her quota to making her immediate environment and beyond a more comfortable place to live in. This explains why the Sustainable Development Goals sparks her interest, particularly Goal 3; Good health and Wellbeing.

Her drive to make things works also makes her great in organizing and leadership and she has functioned in various areas ranging from planning committees to group leading and is currently a sub-team lead in TMI Africa. She also values team work and loves working with people who have similar passions.

She is gifted in haircare and management and has turned this gift into a brand: WIG IT. She currently runs this business alongside other talented individuals and she is determined to make it one of the leading hair brands in due season.

When she's not working, she likes to listen to good music and she also loves travelling and meeting new people.
