Arizona Center for Youth Resources in 649 N 6th Ave #649, Phoenix, AZ 85003, United States
Since its founding in 1976, the Arizona Center for Youth Resources (ACYR) has remained steadfast in its mission: to empower individuals by unlocking their potential and building brighter futures. What began as a youth-centered organization has grown into a dynamic and inclusive community resource that supports people of all ages through academic advancement, vocational training, and employment services.
At the heart of ACYR’s work lies the belief that every individual deserves access to the tools and support needed to succeed. Recognizing that education and employment are key drivers of personal and community transformation, ACYR designs programs that meet people where they are—whether they are disconnected youth seeking guidance, young adults exploring career paths, or individuals looking to build skills that lead to sustainable employment.
Over the years, ACYR has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of the Phoenix community. Through its innovative programming, the organization helps individuals overcome barriers, build confidence, and develop the practical skills needed to thrive in today’s economy. ACYR offers a wide range of services including high school diploma attainment, GED preparation, career exploration, workforce readiness, paid internships, job placement, and industry-recognized certifications. These programs are tailored to empower individuals with real-world skills and open the door to meaningful career pathways.
Education is one of ACYR’s foundational pillars. The organization provides a supportive learning environment for youth and adults who may have faced challenges in traditional educational settings. Through partnerships with alternative education providers and flexible learning models, ACYR helps participants reengage in their education and achieve academic goals that once felt out of reach.
