A native of the United Arab Emirates, Farooq Arjomand grew up in Dubai before relocating to the United States to complete high school in Seattle, Washington. He also spent two years completing undergraduate courses at Bellevue Community College and continued on to Seattle Pacific University to study business management. Farooq Arjomand graduated with a bachelor of arts in management.

Farooq Arjomand invested much of his early career to HSBC, where he was a banker and senior manager. During his 16-year tenure, he honed expertise in private banking, corporate finance, investment, and trade services. In addition, he founded Amlak Finance & Emaar Properties.

By 2001, he leveraged his banking expertise to establish the Arjomand Group. He has since grown the management company into a successful enterprise, catering to 15 industries around the world. As chairman, he helps business clients optimize profitability and achieve corporate goals. His group consists of technology, hospitality, and real estate divisions, among others.
