This website is just not about myself but about my life with my Love.
The first time I met Satabdi, it was through a matrimony website. Her father had sent me an interest! The moment I saw her photo for the first time, I felt a weird sensation of happiness from within which I can never explain in words! There is a Bengali saying, which when translated to English means - If something is destined to happen, there is no force that can stop it from happening. And so it happened... I immediately accepted the interest! This might sound real 'filmy', but truly it was her eyes and her smile that almost forced me to accept the interest request and I am glad I did not resist it. And as they say, the rest is history! Or should I say... our "future"!
It has been a little over six years since I moved to the US and since then life has been really busy! After I started talking with Satabdi... initially on Facebook messenger, then gradually exchanged our phone numbers and moved to whatsapp and then eventually skype... life just took a different turn. We talk for hours and still it leaves me wanting for more! The good thing is we talk about anything that comes to our mind. Even if we don't have a topic, we just keep babbling for hours because I think we are both equally crazy... she might be a tad more! Haha...
When she visited US, even though she had a very tight schedule, she made it a point to take some time out to come to Memphis, just to meet with me. This is what love is all about! And so on the midnight of December 31st, 2015, I went down on my knees, and told her that I want to be a part of her family and want to hold her in my arms for the rest of my life! And with the tick of the clock... when everybody shouted "Happy New Year", we wished each other a "Happy New Life"!
Satabdi is one of the most amazing persons I have ever come across. She operates in extremes! She can be really unpredictable and that just adds to the mystery that she is! When she is happy, there is nothing more beautiful in this world than her smile! And when she is mad... boy, you better watch your back! But happy or mad... she is mine and a moment without her seems like a lifetime!
