Software Development Engineer (Lead), Data, Expedia, Bellevue, WA July 2016 – Present

• Developed and migrating the Microservices to new stack from old stack for CarRentals teams

• Worked with 5 different Microservices and built them from scratch

• Developed and designed ETL’s and ELT’s using Spark & Spark streaming to ingest data into Snowflake.

• Worked and developed Data collector to bring in the data from various sources.

• Migrated old platform from Pig, Hive to Spark and Spark streaming with supporting both of the platform. • Designed, Developed on end to end data pipeline deployed on AWS using Kinesis, Lambda, S3, EMR, Dynamo DB and Redshift.

• Designed and created data integrity check for alerts, monitoring of data leaks and marketing campaigns feed count in Java & Python. Created marketing campaigns for this ingested data as well.

• Designed and implemented Java RESTful web service for mortgage loan based ads.
