Arka Dutta
Software Engineer, Project Manager, and Product Manager in India
I drink coffee and pretend to know things. In truth, I spend my days navigating the worlds of technology, product, and analytics—where complex systems meet human needs and business strategy.
I studied Electronics Engineering at NIT Agartala and began my career in the telecom cloud space, working on large-scale systems integration projects. Along the way, I discovered my real passion: not just building technology, but shaping how it creates value for people and organizations. That curiosity is now guiding my transition into product management and business problem-solving.
Beyond the professional arc, I’m a writer at heart. My nonfiction explores management, digital futures, and systems thinking, while my fiction delves into human stories against shifting social and technological landscapes. Writing, for me, is how I make sense of complexity.
I’m also building GreyPraxis, a high-concept consulting initiative that blends analytics, systems design, and imagination to tackle ambiguous, long-horizon challenges.
I like to call myself a flâneur—a wanderer of ideas, disciplines, and senses. Whether in tech, business, or writing, I’m always exploring connections that others might miss.
