Diana L Guerrero
advisor, Consultant, and author in the United States
My first word was, "fish" and the rest, they say, is history. I grew up on the ocean in a port town and I have two identities around my interests--which include the ocean, wild animal behavior and conservation, and as an explorer.
I can be found out in the cyber-jungle known as the Internet and lead adventours in real life on the central coast of California departing from the Port of Monterey or the local airport (MRY).
As ARKlady, I am known for my work with both aquatic & wild animals. But a serious tumble from the top of a zoo hay barn moved me into a new realm. So, I "fell" into a new career path as a professional writer and author. My geek grrrl self also emerged as theArkLady a cyber-jungle trailblazer and adventour guide.
My online adventures began in 1995 as I began publishing an online magazine and much more.
Fast forward to today, I am currently am working to blend my talents into a new package.
And finally as a #G2KM tidbit, I am naturally curious and passionate about many things, so you'll find my name mentioned in a few books such as the "Writing Alone, Writing Together", "The Web Savvy Writer", "The Man Who Predicts Earthquakes", "The Solopreneur Life" & "The Forgiveness Handbook".
Plus, I am the traditionally published works: "Blessing of the Animals: A Guide to Prayers & Ceremonies Celebrating Pets & Other Creatures" (2007), "What Animals Can Teach Us about Spirituality: Inspiring Lessons of Wild & Tame Creatures" (2003), & contributing editor to the award winning, "Resources for Crisis Management for Animal Care Facilities" (1999).
You may have seen me commenting in major market media (television, radio, magazines and newspapers) such a NPR, The Today Show, Discovery, MSNBC etc.
Connect with me via TheArkLady.Com or find me either swimming in the ocean on the central coast or gawking at sea creatures at the Monterey Bay Aquarium!
