Armand brings an extensive background in design, sales logistics, project coordinating, and office management. His passion at work is in team building and in human centered design. He loves to find improvements in company processes and believes the success of every team relies on mastering crucial conversations. He particularly enjoys virtual collaboration, as it combines his experience with team building and new technology.

A lover of design, he helped design the lightest per square foot shelters using geodesic principles for use in emergencies and disaster relief. Well-adjusted to diversity, Armand has worked in a broad range of areas, including office manager at ProStar Software; sales logistics at Wild Planet Foods, a sustainable seafood company; project engineer and designer for emergency shelters in disaster relief at World Shelters and Uber Shelter, where he set up shelters in Haiti and Southern California; and field supervisor at the Redwood Coast Energy Authority, a local government joint powers authority, to develop and implement sustainable energy initiatives that reduce energy demand, increase energy efficiency, and advance the use of clean, efficient and renewable energy resources. His professional skills are in sales management, project management, product development, and organizational development.

Raised in Houston, Texas and Silicon Valley, California, Armand holds a BA in International Studies, Globalization from Humboldt State University. As a French American dual citizen, with Japanese heritage, he is fluent in French, Spanish in addition to his native English, he can also hold a conversation in Haitian Creole, especially if it's about Haitian food.

On a Saturday afternoon Armand loves spending time enjoying the outdoors and relaxing with friends. If the sun is out, they’ll be camping or at the river. On those weekends or business trips when Armand heads out, he never leaves without a couple of good books to read and some language study materials. For inspiration, Armand tries to follow the advice of a wise man who once told him to seek happiness from within.
