Based in Los Angeles, Armen Adzhemyan practices all facets of commercial law in his role as an associate attorney at the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP. Since 2007, he has authored a number of court pleadings and motions, and has litigated several bench trials. Also focusing on transnational matters, Armen Adzhemyan played a key role on the litigation staff for Chevron on several matters related to a fraudulently obtained Ecuadorian judgment. In this capacity, he oversaw numerous attorneys during discovery and prepared witness testimonies for trial proceedings. Mr. Adzhemyan previously served as a summer associate with the Firm.
As an authority in his field, Armen Adzhemyan has published a number of scholarly articles in prominent legal journals. Recently, he coupled his personal interest in Breaking Bad with his writing an article on the show’s misrepresentation of the attorney-client privilege. In addition, he has shared his legal expertise at a number of Gibson Dunn meetings, covering topics such as the issues surrounding cross-border discovery.
Armen Adzhemyan holds a juris doctorate from the University of California, Berkley School of Law. During his studies, he served as senior editor for the school’s Journal of International Law.
