Eli Arnold serves as a Reference Librarian at the Philip Weltner Library at Oglethorpe University, his alma mater. He offers research assistance in a variety of formats and teaches instructional classes at the request of the faculty to increase information literary and research skills of Oglethorpe's undergraduate students.
Eli earned his MLIS from Valdosta State University in 2012 and spent almost two years working at the Horace W. Sturgis Library at Kennesaw State University. While in library school, he served as the president of the Valdosta State University’s Students of Library and Information Science (SOLIS) student organization. Active in local library organizations, Eli acts as Vice-Chair of the New Members' Round Table of the Georgia Library Association and Programming Chair of the 2014 GaCOMO/SELA Joint Conference.
