Arnold A. Jackson provides expertise in executing operational strategies associated with IT governance, enterprise risk management and policy development.
Prior to founding AJ Management Consulting, Jackson served as the Associate Director for the 2010 Decennial Census at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census. In that capacity, he exercised full oversight of the $14 billion budget as an administrator of the 2010 Decennial Census operations.
During his previous tenure at the Census Bureau, Jackson became the first Associate Director to serve on the Director’s executive staff. He pioneered the use of highly distributed information-technology solutions for nationwide support. He also implemented programs in support of the Clinger-Cohen Act, a 1996 law designed to improve the way the federal government acquires and manages information technology.
