The battle for brilliant pixels has started and there's no way to stop it. Every month or two cameras with an increase of pixels to enter the market. Unless your budget is infinite when investing in a camera you produce a compromise between super pixels and other characteristics. For instance is it better to invest money on more brilliant pixels or on better lenses? Or perhaps in the place of having the latest number of brilliant pixels get an external display for low light photography? When buying a camera try to predict what and the way you uses it. In many cases a lowered mega pixels alarm with better a lens will result in a much better picture than the usual large mega pixels with an inferior lens.
