I am an English Literature graduate from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University, India. I have completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Xavier Institute of Communications, one of the premiere institutes in the country. As part of my curriculum I headed the advertising team and raised the funds for the college magazine “Ink”, programmed and produced a 20 minutes news broadcast programme as well as a 15 minutes radio documentary.
After completing my course in April 2010, I started working with 20:20 Media, a public relations firm. My clients included Symantec India and Volkswagen Group India. From 2011 - 2012 I was working with Shaadionline Pvt. Ltd. as a Wedding Planner. Shaadionline is a professional wedding management company that provides a complete range of wedding related services. My job responsibility included vendor management, client servicing, business development, production, documentation, and event execution and operations. Recently I have joined Venpep Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as an Asst. Manager - Business Development. Venpep Solutions plans to launch 'OurVivaha' a disruptive e-commerce platform that proposes to conduct engaging and meaningful B2C interaction, by interlinking 2 diverse, B2B and C2C communities through cutting edge, disruptive, technologies. The space that they wish to command is in the Wedding and Wedding services verticals.
In addition to academics, I have always had a keen interest in creative pursuits. I have been actively involved in theatre and music and I have represented my college at various national as well as international platforms. Being the cultural secretary of my college, I have played in key role in organizing the various cultural activities of the college.
I have also been associated with various social causes. I recently volunteered at the Baby Care Centre run by the Rogpa Charitable Trust. The baby care centre provides for the children from the Tibetan refugee community settled in Mcleodganj, Himachal Pradesh.
