Raquel Jiménez Nieto

Seville, Andalusia, Spain

I am 26 years old and I was born in Ronda (Malaga, Spain), in 1987.

Ever since my childhood, I was interested in painting, handicrafts and construction. Few years later, I discovered the world of the Architecture. My greatest dream was to be an Architect.

I finished my studies in January 2012. Spanish architecture is focus on architecture design and civil engineering both so I am a full qualified architect and also I have knowledge of civil engineering.

Now, I feel passion for rehabilitation and design, not only architectural, but also graphic.

I keep the theme of the idea throughout the whole process, from start to the crucial phase of the project management. The project must be developed based on the more general concept to complete the definition of the smallest detail that materializes, trying to preserve the initial idea or concept throughout the project process.

I look for a sustainable architecture, functional, creative, human and adapted to the requirements and needs of each particular case. The architecture responds to the surrounding environment, to social needs and of the customer requirements.
High quality design results from the continuity of the design process, seriousness, commitment and intensive dialogue with the client.

I already have experience in positions with intermediate responsibility. In Spain, I worked as architect assistant in an architecture office like “Gálvez&Algeciras architecture studio” for international competition projects and international execution projects of architecture and urban design in Mexico. I work as a freelancer as well.

As a person, I am highly motivated and extremely well-organized. I have an energetic and meticulous personality. I face challenges with optimism, enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.
I might bring work, delivery and desire of learning; I love it and aim for it. I always work closely in everything to ensure the best results.

At the moment, I am looking for an opportunity to join an national or international team in order to gain some practical experience. I believe that there is no better way of growing as a person and professionally than working day by day with others people.

Besides this, I try to find time to go running. My second best hobby.
