Arsalan Reyaz
Web Developer, Student, and Small Business Owner in tragpora rafiabad baramulla
Greetings ,
My Name Is Arsalan Reyaz an Young aerospace engineer and the founder of Nura Net Space — Kashmir's first independent space research organization. Born in 2011 in Tragpora, Rafiabad, Baramulla, Kashmir, My journey into technology began in early childhood, driven by an innate curiosity for how things work — constantly experimenting with simple DC motors and mechanical parts. This passion evolved into structured engineering when I built My very first coded system: an Arduino-based Smart Dustbin. This initial spark found a massive launchpad at SRM Welkin Higher Secondary School, which has supported his ambitions over the last 6 years. Stepping into the school's Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL), where he served as Head Boy, shifted his focus toward industrial-grade engineering, allowing Me to build a massive catalog of advanced projects.
Grateful to My family and mentors who anchored this journey — My father, Reyaz Ahmad Sheikh, a Grid Engineer at Bandipora; My mother, Shahyista; and mentors Saket Sir, Aijaz Sir, and uncle Imtiyaz Sheikh —
on April 18, 2024, Arsalan Reyaz founded Nura Net with an initial vision to revolutionize internet service provision and communication networks. As ambitions expanded, Nura Net evolved into a cutting-edge space research enterprise, establishing two specialized branches: Nura Net Defence and Nura Net Space — with Nura Net Space becoming Kashmir's fastest-growing aerospace engineering division.
Today, Arsalan Reyaz leads all engineering design and development at Nura Net Space. His work spans liquid rocket propulsion (including the LPE-200, a 200N LOX/methane engine), reusable rocket vehicles, encrypted communication systems, autonomous UAVs, high-precision PCB design, and bare-metal embedded firmware. From deploying the NuraCast high-frequency weather array to designing the Nura Vex VTOL hopper vehicle, he builds hardware that performs cleanly and transparently — entirely in-house, from Kashmir.
