I really was present at the creation of the Internet. I have started and run businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit foundations. I have created organizations, technologies, and opportunities for others to learn and grow. I try to make the world a better place. I am focused on "giving back" to society. Having spent a lifetime in technology, my principal cause is Harnessing the Power of Technology for Social Good. I also am the founder of the Devout Project (www.DevoutPolitics.com). I write (fiction, non-fiction, essays, blogs, etc.), work on a variety of projects, and connect other people and projects together. I believe that, in addition to having goals (e.g., "what do you want to be when you grow up?"), everyone also needs to understand and pursue their own life's purpose (e.g., "what will you do or what are you doing to make the world a better place?"). I try, in a variety of ways, to do things that will help others to discover and achieve their own life's purpose.
