Artemis Lopez

Washington, DC

A Spain native, Artemis moved to the US in 2003. He has been doing technical theater vocationally since 2006, and professionally since 2013. He currently works as a freelance Stage Manager and Board OP, and as a Rental Technician at GALA Hispanic Theatre, in Washington, DC. He has Stage Managed dance shows, musicals, and straight plays, but the first play he managed, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (2009), will always hold a special place in his heart.

Although he has been translating and interpreting (English<>Spanish) on the side all his life, he started doing so professionally in 2011. He has translated surveys, articles, websites, and legal documents, and also does legal interpreting. He's a member of the American Translators' Association.

Artemis graduated from Ursinus College in May of 2012, majoring in East Asian Studies and minoring in History, Japanese, and Theater.
