Asking good questions as a leader
Good leaders recognize they are not the only one's with good ideas. When a leader finds his or her personal idea mine empty, they must know where to mine more. Three ways you can encourage others to develop good ideas include explaining why the project is important and their ideas matter, ask people great questions that encourage creative thinking, and allowing people time to think and create. You will be amazed at the great ideas your people have if you allow them the opportunity to reflect on the problem and the time to think of new approaches. Doing so enables them to open their own idea mine.
