Arthur Mandelin, MD/PhD
Dr. Mandelin is a rheumatologist at the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation and
Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and serves on the faculty of the Northwestern
University Feinberg School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Medicine, Division of Rheumatology.
He is an active member of the American College of Rheumatology, and is involved in
several patient-based research projects.
His bibliography includes basic science research into the disease mechanisms of
rheumatoid arthritis, and clinical research into methods for measuring
patient outcomes in rheumatic diseases.
His practice philosophy is: "Patients do better if they can participate in their own care,
and to do that they need to be given an understanding of their disease."
