Artoni is a native of Wilmington, DE, now residing in Jersey City, NJ. He has studied art at the Delaware Art Museum School, Philadelphia Institute of Art, School of Visual Arts in New York, and Florida A & M University. His artwork reflects a life of inspiration from his African American heritage, his immersion in the world of music and a deep spiritual root system that all converge organically in color and form. The tropical brilliance of Gaugin, the electricity of Van Gogh, the illustrative brilliance of Salvador Dali, the lineage of Beardon are all evidenced as influences on the distinctive lyrical sense of Artoni’s artwork.

Most recently, Artoni has created a new action-adventure cartoon character toy property, C2 & Posse:Inner-City Heroes™ (pronounced Cee-Squared), the first of its kind to portray Inner-City teenagers of different ethnicity as heroes. This Premiere graphic novel is now available in stores and also online from Artoni is also available for commissioned art works; including portraits & illustrations in oils, pencils and other media.
