Pedro Palma was born in San Salvador, (Republic of El Salvador), Central America. He is a classically trained artist with extensive experience in many mediums. Pedro is an award-winning artist with collections worldwde including the United States and Australia. At age 14 he attended art graphics school "Artes Graphicas" in El Salvador, studying under the famous Mexican oil artist Carter De Leon, were he received a Degree in Fine Arts. To further his studies in oil, he took private art classes with two world-renowned oil artists Valero Lecha and Julia Diaz. In March of 2009, one of Pedro's paintings was accepted by the Art Committee at the Louisiana Governor's Mansion as part of their permanent art collection. His paintings are in several public and private collections including: The Ansel Stroud Military History Museum at Jackson Barracks, New Orleans, Louisiana, and The Jefferson Parish General Government Building in Gretna, Louisiana.
