Arunkumar Raman

I am Arunkumar Raman, a Hotel Growth Coach and the founder of Hotel Growth Hub—one of India’s growing communities created exclusively for independent hotel owners.

My journey in hospitality began nearly three decades ago. I gained international experience working in Dubai before returning to India and joining Le Méridien, where I worked within the Starwood and Marriott hospitality ecosystem.

Later, I worked with LivGrand Hotels, where I handled sales and growth for 33 hotels and resorts across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.

During this journey, I discovered a serious gap in the hotel industry.

Many independent hotel owners were working extremely hard but still struggling to grow. They were heavily dependent on Online Travel Agencies, paying high commissions and losing control over their profits. Digital marketing felt complicated and expensive, and most owners had no trusted mentor or community to guide them.

More importantly, many hotel owners felt alone.

That realization inspired me to start Hotel Growth Hub—a learning and support community where hotel owners can gain the knowledge, systems, strategies, and confidence required to build a profitable and sustainable hotel business.

Through my training programs, workshops, webinars, and community initiatives, I have reached and impacted more than 10,000 hoteliers. Today, over 750 hotel owners are part of the Hotel Growth Hub community, learning and growing together.

Our community journey has expanded beyond online learning. In July 2025, we conducted our first community meetup in Delhi, followed by another hotelier meetup in Chennai in October 2025.

On July 20 and 21, 2026, we conducted the Hotel Growth Summit – IGNITE 2026 in Chennai. Hotel owners from across India came together for two powerful days of learning, networking, recognition, and transformation.

Community members shared their real success stories, inspiring speakers offered practical business insights, and outstanding hoteliers were recognised for their growth and contribution to the community.

The hospitality industry is now entering a completely new phase.

Artificial intelligence, digital marketing, automation, and changing guest behaviour are transforming how hotels attract guests and generate revenue. Through Hotel Growth Hub, we help independent hotel owners understand and adopt these new technologies—without becoming completely dependent on OTAs.

My mission is to empower 100,000 hotel owners with the knowledge, systems, technology, and community support they need to grow their visibility, generate more direct bookings, increase revenue, and run their hotels confidently.

I believe independent hotels should not merely survive.

They should become visible, profitable, sustainable—and truly unforgettable.
