The popularity of cooking shows was touching its heights and the demand of continuously increasing. This generated competition for other cooking channels and shows when ARY Digital Network which is owned by the ARY Group launched their 24 hour cooking TV channel with the name “ARY ZAUQ” in Pakistan. ARY Zauq was launched in 2009 and some new cooking shows with different styles and presentations were introduced.
