Since May’04 Associated with a Diplomatic mission as a Press & Communications Officer and Editor; My core responsibilities Public Affairs, maintaining relationship with the print and broadcast media, handling press releases (drafting, editing and translating), managing ministerial visits, event management and coordination with internal departments on matters pertaining to Press, Communications & Public Relations especially the Political Department.

Also manage editorial responsibilities of Two bi-monthly magazines in English and Urdu as an Editor.

Exposure to Project Planning and management and managing projects with external stakeholders.

Manage Strategic Communications for sectoral responsibilities e.g. Foreign Affairs, Environment and Climate Change, besides managing External Relations with external stakeholders, associations, trade bodies, educational institutes and civil society organisations.

Awarded South Asia Employee Bonus award in 2012.

July’99-May’04 BBC World Service, as a Producer (O.C.); handled reporting, scripting and filing voice reports and packages (in voice) essentially for the BBC Urdu Service. Filed voice reports and packages for the BBC Hindi Service.

Dec’96-July’99 All India Radio’s Central Monitoring Service in Delhi as Casual Monitor/Asst.News Editor.
Handled translation and editing (in English and Urdu), news and current affairs programmes from foreign radio and T.V. channels.
