I am currently the Sport Science Coordinator and Rehabilitation Coach at the Melbourne Football Club which is the oldest club in the Australian Football League. Prior to my current role, I worked for Victorian Football League club Casey Scorpions for 5 years as the Head of Strength and Conditioning and was also the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at Melbourne FC (part time) for 2 years. I have also privately consulted to school sport academy's, team and individual athletes ranging from recreation level to the elite level and from junior level to senior level.
I have also worked as a Lecturer and Tutor at both TAFE and tertiary education levels.
I completed my undergraduate degree in exercise and sport science from Victoria University where I also spent time gaining valuable research experience as a research assistant during my studies. I went on to complete an Honours degree at Victoria University graduating with First Class Honours. I have had 3 peer-reviewed publications (2 as lead author). I am currently furthering my knowledge through studying the Masters of High Performance Sport from Australian Catholic University.
I am also a Level 1 ASCA coach (Level 2 pending) and a Graduate Coach in the ASCA’s professional coaching scheme. I am a member of both the ASCA and NSCA.
