Azadeh is currently a research assistant at the Nanotechnology Institute at the University of Waterloo. Her research is on using DNA aptamers as biosensors to target many different tumor lines. She has extensive experience in both academic and industrial environments in analytical and environmental chemistry. Outside the world of science, Azadeh enjoys yoga, aerobics, oil painting, diverse music, traveling, cooking and she is a professional cake decorator.
