Asantewa Rabarison

I am a writer and poet. Africa is my home and my first love, and I yearn to see my people freed. I delight in womanhood, so some people may call me an African Feminist. I prefer to be seen as a fighter of double oppression, because I don't believe that black women were born to be pacifists. I write to awaken and enlighten people on the harsh realities of living in a system that was not made for us, and to strengthen women so they can be reborn as the Warrior Queens they were always destined to be.
