Andrea Sarralde Shelton

Andrea Sarralde Shelton is an independent Multimedia Producer, Communication and Social Media Specialist. She is the owner of Pro Media LLC a company that provides services across media platforms to improve communication between companies and their clients within the Latino market. She created a unique Social Media TV Program for Telemundo and has specialized in the consulting communication field since 2013. In 2014 Andrea began working with Google as a rater and web analyst for their advertising department.

Andrea worked as a news producer and reporter for Voice of America, a division of the U.S. Broadcast Bureau of Governors. She produced a daily newscast, “El Mundo al Día”, which is broadcast throughout Latin America.

For eight years she worked for Telemundo, one of the most popular Spanish TV stations in the Washington DC metropolitan area. While working there, she developed her craft as a news producer, reporter and anchor. She also produced and hosted, “Educación a su Alcance Edición Especial”, an educational TV program that was broadcast once a month which focused on the importance of going to university.

Andrea also hosts and produces “Línea Directa”, a unique TV show that deals with political, economic, educational, immigration and health issues within the Latino community both at the local and national level, and proudly received an Emmy Award nomination for Community Service. She has an accomplished record in broadcasting, having served as the host of the popular daily morning radio program on VIVA 900 for more than three years. Andrea is a native of Colombia, and has a degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from the highly respected Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá; and a Master’s Degree in Community Manager and Social Media Specialist from Universidad of Barcelona in Spain.
