I graduated from Oregon State University in 2011 with a degree in Liberal Studies focusing on New Media Communications (now Digital Communication Arts) and a minor in Writing.

My original intent had been to graduate in Mechanical Engineering, but after two years of technical study I chose to pursue a skill set built around versatility. The engineering and technical field never remained far away, as I continued to work with various student and professional technical projects (e.g., OSU Open Source Lab, OSU Formula SAE and NW National Marine Renewable Energy Center.)

I have served as a writer/marketer/communicator in collegiate athletics, marine renewable energy development, web-based continuing education and speciality retail.

I am currently working and studying full-stack web development through Code Fellows in Seattle, Wash.
